Local Community Fund
We are thrilled to have been chosen to benefit from the next round of the Co-op Local Community Fund. This means you are able to support the vital work we do every time you shop at any Co-op store until October 2023, with 1p of every £1 you spend on Co-op branded goods going towards our Yoga classes.
We need your help!
To raise funds for us, you need to be a member, select us as your cause and swipe your card every time you shop. Find out more below.
How to support us
Become a member of the Co-op. If you are already a member, you are already ahead – congratulations.
If you are not yet a member of the Co-op, you can join in two ways. You can visit www.coop.co.uk/membership or, alternatively, you can pop into your local Co-op Food store and become a member over the counter where you will be issued with a temporary membership card. Note that membership of the Co-op is a one-time payment of £1.
Now you are a member, you need to select the Berkshire MS Therapy Centre as your local cause. You can visit our dedicated Co-op Local Community Fund webpage at https://membership.coop.co.uk/causes/72800. Not online? Don’t worry you can call 0800 0686 727 and ask them to link your membership to our project.
When you log into your account online, you will be offered the choices of the projects within 15 miles of your home address. But don’t worry if you live more than 15 miles away, by using the link you can still choose to select us.
Swipe your card every time you shop! If you don’t swipe your card, you will not earn your benefits and the Berkshire MS Therapy Centre will not be supported. You can even download the Co-op app which will allow you to scan your digital membership card when shopping and provides access to some great personalised offers. You can download the app here: www.coop.co.uk/coop-app. Forgot your card? Select the 'Forgot your card' at the self-checkout or tell the cashier you have forgotten your card. You have 14 days to log on to add receipt or call the membership team on 0800 0686 727 to add to your total.
When is a Co-op not a Co-op?
Some Co-ops are not Co-op Group Stores. For example some are Midcounties (ie the one at Tilehurst Triangle and Overdown Road). You will not be able to get awards in these stores but they have their own membership schemes were you can earn rewards.
Spread the word
Please encourage your friends and family to join you in doing the same – the more members that select our cause and shop with the Co-op, the more funding our charity will receive and the more help we can give to those who need it most.
If you don’t have access to a computer, you can also call the Co-op membership support centre on 0800 0686 727 to select a cause/add a receipt. Lines are open 9am to 6pm Monday to Friday, and 9am to 5pm on Saturday.
If you have any questions please phone Sam at the Centre on 0118 901 6000 or drop her an email at firstname.lastname@example.org.
