BMSTC urgent coronavirus fundraising appeal

Covid-19 may have interrupted so many things in life but MS did not stop. Nor did the Berkshire MS Therapy Centre. 

The support we are currently providing is very different from what we usually do, but we are adapting to the changing circumstances around us. Coronavirus has challenged the Centre like never before. A lot of our income has stopped, which has left us financially vulnerable and our future threatened. 

But we have been very fortunate and we have received some incredible support. It is thanks to everyone who has donated and fundraised that we can continue to support our MS community. 

We are not out of the woods yet. The next few years will see our finances challenged. We still need your help. With our income expected to be significantly down, there may be some tough decisions in our future. 

We are an entirely independent charity. Whilst this gives us the luxury of being able to make decisions with only our local community in mind, it means no one underwrites our services. We have to raise every penny we need or we have to stop providing our services. 

As we move to restart our face to face services, there are different challenges. Social distancing, new costs (such as PPE) and continuing to run our remote support will add extra strain to our finances.
