I would like to start by saying a huge thank you to everyone who supported us on Double Matched Day last Friday. We have a whole blog post recapping the event and other fundraising information so I will not steal its thunder by revealing too much now. Click here to read about how it went. We would like to thank everyone who continues to support the Centre, not just last Friday. Every penny continues to keep our Centre going in these difficult times and your non-financial support - whether it is reading this blog, liking us on Facebook or Twitter and sharing our information or attending our online services - keep our community running. We can't do it without you nor would we want to.
You may have noticed our blog update has gone out a little early this week? I am just preparing for my long-awaited holiday. Thankfully we booked a staycation long before the current crisis hit. It means over the next three weeks, the blog will come from my colleague Sam. If you don't receive the updates as normal on a Friday please check your Junk Folder for an email from Samantha Harper.
This week we are bringing you:
- Fundraising update including the results of Double Matched Day. Click here to read more
- We are looking at the possibility of adding a weeknight or weekend exercise class. Click here to read more
- AbilityNet - can they help you with your IT problems? Click here to read more
- What not to say with someone with MS? Do you agree with their list? Click here to read more
Please look after yourselves and 'see' you in a few weeks' time.
