We are starting a new temporary pilates class on Wednesdays 3.00pm - 4.00pm. The class will run from the 31st October up to and including19th December. Criteria: Ability to get on and off the floor with minimal assistance.
Pilates is a low impact exercise that benefits the body and mind. Pilates works on the deep core of the body with a focus on normal movement patterns, control, stability and balance. The classes take place in a sitting, lying and standing position. As with all our classes, our group is adapted for people with MS. Pilates can help with strength, flexibility, balance and posture.
