Farewell to our Massage Therapist Tricia and welcome to Janine

5 March 2019

Sadly for us, our massage therapist Tricia will be relocating to the Wye Valley area, her last day at the Centre will be Monday 25th March.  We would like to wish her the very best of luck with her move and also to thank her for providing such a great massage therapy service at the Centre, she will be missed by many.

We are fortunate to have found Janine Ford who will be taking over massage therapy at the Centre.  Janine is moving to the area to live in Upper Bucklebury. Initially, she is able to offer us 3 appointments on a Monday every other week starting on 29th April, we really hope that once she has settled into her new home that she may be able to increase her availability for us, we'll have to wait and see!

A little introduction:

"My name is Janine Ford and I believe that hands-on therapies and relaxation techniques including massage, reflexology and yoga can be life-changing.

I’m particularly excited to work with Berkshire MS Therapy Centre clients and use my experience to help ease symptoms such as pain, numbness and muscle spasms whilst allowing for a relaxing and enjoyable treatment. I work in an intuitive and individualistic way and use a range of techniques so each treatment is designed to suit how clients feel on the day.

I completed my first Diploma at the London College of Massage in 2012 where I learnt how to apply a range of massage styles including Swedish, deep tissue and shiatsu. In 2013, I fell in love with reflexology and the sense of peace it brings about. I studied my second Diploma at the London School of Reflexology with Louise Keet, the author of The Reflexology Bible. Since 2016, I've completed additional training in reflexology for fertility and healthy labour, deep tissue massage and myofascial techniques. I am also a qualified yoga teacher having completed a 250-hour Yoga Alliance Professionals-approved training course with Stretch London in 2018."

You can book an appointment with Janine at reception or by calling 0118 901 6000.
