Chair-based Yoga

We have had some amazing feedback from Uddhavas chair-based Yoga classes. Taking place on a Monday and a Friday, Uddhava has transformed his usual class to a chair-based one. 

Missed the yoga? Let us recap! The main criteria for attending the chair-based Yoga class is to be able to safely sit upright on a chair of your choosing and be able to move. We will use physical movement and gentle stretching, practised with awareness, to release tension and encourage relaxation. We mobilise some of the joints of the body and there is some strengthening work but we remain seated on our chair throughout. Yoga encourages us to become more aware of the body and your breathing. The class ends with a short seated relaxation.
