Last Saturday was our annual Boars Bridge Festival. This year was our 11th event and was shaping up to be a great weekend before the Pandemic hit. Well, there was no way a worldwide pandemic would get in the way of our Boars Bridge gang and it was moved online.
This years online exclusive will go down as one of the best shows yet. Sadly we missed out on some of the fun (such as rent a hat for a day and of course, the bar - that's hard to do online!) but it still captured that brilliant Boars Bridge atmosphere. We are very grateful for everyone who got into the spirit of the event.
The fundraising is still coming in but the current total stands at .....drum roll please.....an amazing £5,200!
We would like to thank everyone involved, we know the incredible amount of work that goes on behind the scenes.
The festival was co-hosted this year by the organiser, Lynne Whiteland, Joe McBurnie and his #FolkOClock team who provided all of the technical assistance - we are incredibly grateful for all their hard work. We would also like to say thank you to all the performers for the brilliant entertainment and everyone who attended and donated.
